Dr. (Major) Priya Deepak (Retd) is a dedicated and highly qualified psychiatrist committed to delivering compassionate and evidence-based mental health care. She completed her MBBS from KVG Medical College (Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences) and pursued her postgraduate training at Armed Forces Medical College, building a strong academic and clinical foundation. With over five years of service in the prestigious Army Medical Corps, Dr. (Major) Priya Deepak has gained invaluable experience working in challenging environments, providing mental health support to soldiers serving in demanding conditions away from their families. This unique experience has strengthened her ability to understand complex emotional challenges with empathy and resilience. She has previously worked as a Senior Resident at BAVMC Medical College and Kamla Nehru Hospital (under PMC), Pune, where she gained extensive clinical exposure and developed expertise in managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including complex and challenging cases. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep disorders, and sexual dysfunction. In addition, she is experienced in managing addiction, child and adolescent mental health, and addressing adjustment issues related to academic pressure, family stress, and fear of failure. At her practice, the focus is on a patient-centered approach—creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel heard and supported.
